"Elephant on Brooklyn Bridge" Digital Photography Archival Print 24 x 33 in. Framed Wall Art
FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY PRINT
“Elephant on Brooklyn Bridge” is an 24 x 33 inch framed digital photograph archival print. The photo was taken on Brooklyn Bridge and contains a solid bronze sculpture entitled "Elephant" created by Michele Benjamin. The features are rendered in the style of African elephant.
The piece was inspired by the story of PT Barnum who, on May 17, 1884, marched elephants across the bridge in order to demonstrate that the bridge would support the weight of humans crossing it.

"On May 17, 1884, one of the circus master P. T. Barnum's most famous attractions, Jumbo the elephant, led a parade of 21 elephants over the Brooklyn Bridge. This helped to lessen doubts about the bridge's stability"
