SHIM/Pictor Digital: Inaugural Exhibition | Messages: The Art of Sending and Receiving | Organized by Denise Jones Adler | Hosted by SHIM Art Network

Art is in constant communication, from what the artist creates from the world to what the viewer takes back with them. Like a game of telephone, the original message evolves through each individual’s unique interpretation.

In MESSAGES, seventeen artworks are in communication, placing vast abstract compositions alongside figurative works and portraits. The work urges us to examine the original intent of the artist and our role in how the message evolves, through the filter of our own world view. It is an invitation to explore, to reflect, and to appreciate the ongoing dialogue between the artist and the viewer.

Artists, whether intentionally or not, engage in an ongoing dialogue with one another, sharing not only techniques and information but also the sheer beauty of their creations.
