     “Sun Bear in Times Square – Social Distancing” is a digital photograph archival print. It was created at the height of the pandemic in New York City in 2020 during the lockdown.

    Times Square was completely empty and the Sun Bear sculpture is photographed on a pedestal surrounded by billboards and architecture, in solitude.

    Symbolism:  The Sun Bear has a magnificent "collar" marking on its front chest symbolic of the rising sun. This special design was inspired by Wildlife in SouthEast Asia, and is a highly endangered species.
